Today I got a call from the school nurse letting me know Anthony was there in her office. See he had a sore throat on Thursday, and he stayed home and as of yesterday he seemed to be just about back to his old self.
Well I guess I was wrong. He has strep again! How the fuck does he have it again. Basically a month later to the day. I never had strep in my life so the only knowledge on it that I have is from friends and my child.
But anyways, being that I am home right now, I didn't have the headache of getting that "call" at work and then being all rattled and have to leave work and then worry about who will watch him the next day. This is truly a good thing to me. But hopefully when I have to go back in June, I won't get many calls.
Yes it definitely sounds like a good thing. I don't know too much about strep throat except that it is painful and I hated the times where I had it. Might be a good idea to ask if he places the ends of ink pens or pencils in his mouth like most children often do.
