Happy Birthday Anthony

Six years old.

Today is my youngest son's birthday. I can remember it like it was yesterday when he was born. Man I can't believe how fast time flies. One minute they are babies and the next they are going so so fast.

He woke up in a wonderful mood, he did all of his math work in school all by himself this morning. Now tonight we will all go out to dinner and just enjoy this wonderful day.

Random

I completely forgot that having a baby comes changing stinky diapers at night oh yea and forget it if your precious baby goes so bad that it comes out of her diaper. But how can you get mad (maybe a little grossed out) when you look at your baby.

I forgot about the spit ups too. OMG this girl is projectile. I am use to it but I am kind enough to warn anyone who decides to hold her of what may happen to them.

I am so looking forward to buying so many cute dresses. Oh how I love little girl clothes they are so fun.

Kids

The kids and I went over my oldest son's friends house and this is what the boys did the entire time.

Man I think I need to get a trampoline.

Sick Child

Angela has a cold. This sucks so much. I hate when babies get sick. So I have been running the vaporizer constantly and dropping saline in her nose. I hope she gets better soon.

Advantage

One of the advantages of being home is not having to worry about who will watch one of the kids when they are sick.

Today I got a call from the school nurse letting me know Anthony was there in her office. See he had a sore throat on Thursday, and he stayed home and as of yesterday he seemed to be just about back to his old self.

Well I guess I was wrong. He has strep again! How the fuck does he have it again. Basically a month later to the day. I never had strep in my life so the only knowledge on it that I have is from friends and my child.

But anyways, being that I am home right now, I didn't have the headache of getting that "call" at work and then being all rattled and have to leave work and then worry about who will watch him the next day. This is truly a good thing to me. But hopefully when I have to go back in June, I won't get many calls.

Week 3

The sleepless nights are slowly fading for the moment. I don't want to speak to soon though because Angela could change up her sleeping at the drop of a hair.

I am slowing evolving into a nice little routine during the day now. Get up at 6:30, wake Whit and Ant up and get them out the door by 7:30. Come home with Ang. clean up, relax a bit, check email (even my work one) I still have to keep on the up and up as to what's going on at the JOB. Play with Ang. rest a little, make dinner, then get ready to pick up the kids at the after school program.

As crazy as it may seem I wish I was putting in even like 8 hours a week of work, I am a control freak and it is driving me crazy that I am not there to make sure my projects are running smoothly. LOL....

On another note, over the past 2 days Angela seems a little colic, we picked up some Gripe Water so hopefully it will work for her. I have sworn by it since T. was born almost 15 years ago. He was so so colic it was awful then I remember we went to JA and this woman had us use it for him. OMG it worked wonders. So I swear by it. Big A made a special trip to the Caribbean store today just to pick t up.

So Many Random thoughts

I decided to create this blog so that I can keep folks up to date with our growing family. My mother always tells me that our life could be a television show because it's so funny. I just think that we have a normal life, two parents and four kids.

Angela was born 2 days ago, she is baby number 4 for me and also my last child. It's crazy how the moment she was born I fell in love all over again with my child. Words can not describe how I felt hearing her first cry. I wonder if my hubby felt the same way that I felt.

I am thinking about starting to scrap book again, but with my crazy life I am not sure if this will be possible.

9 months of being pregnant I wondered what she would look like, would she be a chubby baby, or a peanut like her brothers and sister were. Will she be a good sleeper? Will she be colic? All of these thoughts and questions. One thing that I can say is that she looks like a little part of her sister and my youngest son. So far so good on the sleeping but she's only 2 days old. (I must remember this) LOL...

I will be on Maternity leave for 3 months, boy that feels so good to type, I was so burnt out at work that I am going to enjoy every moment, second, day, etc....

I have so many things that I want to be able to do while out on leave. I will have to make a list.
